Delivering enterprise system implementations and cloud migrations as a technical consultant subcontracting with major consulting firms.

  • Cloud migration & ERP rebuild — Texas A&M University Commerce & Texarkana: primary engineer and architect of the Banner ERP upgrade and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration — rebuilt load-balanced application tiers across production, DR, QA, and development, including PCI-compliant payment gateway integration and automated environment monitoring.
  • Cloud migration — Doña Ana County, NM: planned and executed the county's ERP and Oracle database upgrade while migrating from on-site hardware to containerized databases on OCI — cutting Oracle licensing costs outright and managing test and production cutover.
  • University System of Georgia: two years as consulting SME supporting Oracle infrastructure, WebLogic/Tomcat middle tiers, and Ellucian Banner across seventeen state universities and colleges under USG managed services.
  • High-volume public health platform: implemented a HIPAA-compliant COVID-19 test scheduling system serving tens of thousands of outbound air passengers weekly — cloud-hosted, with automated SMS results delivery and a custom payment gateway integration for Caribbean banks.
  • Blockchain & AI engineering: deployed and tuned Ethereum, Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Chia nodes; blockchain payment integration via APIs with Python; and private LLM / agentic AI deployments with automation pipelines for clients.

Senior Technical Consultant — Professional Services

Primary resource for optimizing client middleware and database engines for high concurrency. Load and stress-tested web tiers simulating tens of thousands of concurrent users and very high transaction rates — tuning platforms to handle well beyond current load, up to 12,000 concurrent active users and several thousand TPS.

  • 70+ client installations served with a 100% issue-resolution success rate and no rework — across the US, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Ireland, and South America.
  • Developed Ellucian's performance testing service from an idea into a full global offering; technical resource on sales calls that converted at 100%.
  • Lead performance troubleshooter for production-down situations; primary support for ERP implementations as embedded SME, hands-on with client teams through project cycles.
  • Authored SQL and PL/SQL courses for the Ellucian Education Center and delivered Oracle and Banner technical training.

Lead Engineer — Enterprise Systems

Responsible for enterprise systems and 23 databases supporting 20 million customers across the entire US eastern seaboard — establishing and tuning OLTP and data warehouse databases based on utilization.

  • Diagnosed and resolved the Enterprise Ticket Engine performance failure underpinning all US-eastern provisioning — an outage costing an estimated $200,000 per hour in lost revenue, which had eluded both hardware and software vendors.
